A selective programme for people who want to move themselves, their organisation and Slovakia forward. Mentors are based in Slovakia and abroad, from Bratislava to San Francisco.

What to expect
A change you work on
Before you start, you name what you want to change: yourself, your role or your organisation. During the programme you refine it with your mentor.
A mentor who fits
Matching based on experience, goals and preferences, supported by AI search. Before deciding, you have a short online call.
People around you
Besides meetings with your mentor, there are group and community meetings with others in the network.

The programme is selective so that strong pairs and a community built on trust can form.

Profile and matching
You complete your profile and receive mentor suggestions. The more you share, the better the match.

Short call and start
You meet online before deciding. A pair forms when both agree.
You apply on GROWNi, the LEAF platform. If you do not have an account yet, you create one while filling in the form. The forms are in Slovak.

Share what you have learned
Our mentors have experience designing and delivering major change: in companies, the public sector and NGOs, in Slovakia and abroad. Mentoring takes about 16 hours over 6 months. You choose your role in the application, and you can choose both.

Is the programme selective?
Yes. The goal is to create strong mentoring pairs and a community built on trust, so we select participants based on their application.
Does my change need to be precisely defined?
No. It is enough to know what you want to work on and why. The change can be at an early stage, and you will refine it with your mentor.
How does mentor matching work?
Based on GROWNi profiles, you receive suggestions of suitable mentors. You can also reach out directly. Before deciding, you have a short online call, and a pair forms when both agree.
What if my mentor is not the right fit?
You can switch mentors halfway through the programme.
Can I be a mentor and a mentee at the same time?
Yes, you can choose both roles in the application.
How much does it cost?
The mentoring network is part of the LEAF community. Mentees contribute an amount they choose themselves on GROWNi. We recommend 1% of your gross salary; there is a lower amount for students and people between jobs. Mentors take part as volunteers.
